As you may have noticed, I've been rather slack with the updates of late. Oddly enough it's not because I haven't had things to talk about (in fact I've had a few rather interesting (in at least one case, possibly controversial) ideas that I fully intended to write blog entries on). The main problem seems to be that my ambition for translating those ideas down to paper (well, figuratively speaking) seldom has corresponded to a time where I'm on/near my home computer. By the time I get back to the computer (usually hours later) I no longer feel like writing a blog entry and do something else instead.

I used to kind of lament that I spent more time writing little blog posts then writing fiction type stuff but that seems to have reversed. I haven't written a ton of stuff lately but I seem to be getting on track with writing semi-consistently and I've got some good (to me) ideas on the go so all is well on that front.

Work continues on at an okay pace. I still don't like working the phone jockey industry but I've probably got one of the best jobs (for me, at least) that I could have in that field. Still have no clue as to what I'm going to do with the rest of my life though my thoughts of late have leaned a bit away from the job search side and a bit more towards the further education side.
