Not quite sure why but I've been all about the oatmeal lately. Until a few months ago, I'd never even tried it. I just kinda assumed I wouldn't like it for some reason. Once I finally tried it though, I was quite happy with it. :)

Now I eat it quasi-often, esp in situations where a hot meal is needed but I don't have the time/ambition to make one. I've only tried 3 diff flavors so far (apple & cinnamon, peaches and cream, maple and brown sugar) but I liked em all. Oatmeal's really good stuff.

Feeling really crappy right now. Not sure why, but my stomach has been REALLY bad tonight. Been doing the belching thing pretty much constantly. I don't usually go to bed this early but I'm making an exception tonight because I'm hoping a good night's sleep will fix things up.

As you may have noticed, there wasn't a post last night. I've been on a string of consistently getting less sleep than required. By the time I went to post last night I was just waaay too tired so I never posted. I'm pretty tired tonight too and I'll probably go to bed soon but I'm making sure to update now so that everyone can have a shiny new defunct word.

Actually, *gasp* did some work today!

It's pretty hard to keep up with my studies given the complete lack of structure/incentive that the strike atmosphere brings. Fortunately most of my work just involves doing readings which is easy enough to do at any point. I read most of Wizard of Earthsea today. I thought about finishing it today (only 30 pages to go) but I don't want to sleep in too long tomorrow so I ended up not doing so.

Academy Awards were tonight. As with pretty much all awards shows I had zero interest in watching. I do like to see movies I appreciated gain recognition but really the largest impact the Academy Awards had on me was that there was no new Simpsons tonight because of them.
