I've got an essay in British Poetry due tomorrow at noon. So naturally I'm taking some time out from working on it to write in my blog. Sweet, sweet procastination.

As you probably already knew (or at the very least guessed) my 72 hour plan bombed big time. Having a 7 hour stretch with nothing all that exciting to do and nobody to do it with (oddly everyone else was in bed by 2:30) left me rather bored. In addition I was starting to fade fast thanks to a crappy sleep prior to my starting the event. Therefore I only made it till about 4 AM. If (hell, who am I kidding, when) I try again, I shall make sure to do at least 2 of the following 3 things: A) enlist others to try with me (probably would be the biggest help in the long run), B) make sure I've got something I can do (even if it is just playing a videogame or something and C) get a good night's sleep heading into the thing

In other news, I gave blood today for the third time. This means I get free swag! The swag consisted of a pin and a pen. The pen is really nice except for the ultra lame "I'm a '3-peat' donor!" line on the side of it. Truly a groan worthy pun.

Well, I suppose I should get back to the whole essay thing. Look for more sometime between later tonight and March 2005!

Quilted Porcupine, a-writing!
