Today was a surprisingly productive day in its way. I got up around 1 PM. Admittedly, not the best start towards a 'productive' day but considering I went to bed around 5:30 AM, it wasn't too bad.

Pretty much the first thing I did after that was play some Pikmin 2. Not only did I play it but I beat it (well sort of. There's an epilogue type thing which I suspect will prove almost as long as the main part of the game)

After that I watched the final 2 eps of Excel Saga. I've had the entirity of that show for months but I kinda got side-tracked around the middle area and didn't get back to it until recently. What a great anime series.

There were other productive things like non microwaved meals, job huntings and laundry but the thing I'm most proud of is that I finally got a start on my novel. I wasn't quite sure how I wanted the prologue to start (though I knew exactly what I wanted to have happen in it) so I was stuck on that for a good week or two. Today I said the hell with it and jumped to chapter one. I only spent maybe an hour and a half writing (broken up into two sessions) but I got a good start on the chapter and I'm looking forward to getting some more done. I'm hoping to be able to write tomorrow as well but work might interfere with my plan a bit.

Gotta love Futurama with its great quotes and great episodes.

Don't forget Puni Puni Poemi and the extrenious episode of excel saga, if you haven't watched them already.

Also the prior quote is from an ep that I haven't seen, and it is the ep that I want to see above all others... I suck

It is a pretty sweet episode. You could probably download it off the net with a minimum of trouble.

And I have watched the extra Excel ep. I haven't seen Puni Puni Poemi yet though.
