It's funny. This week I've felt like I was part of team at work more so than at any other point previous to this. That's despite the fact that A) we lost our team leaderand a couple other team members a couple weeks back, B) I'm only around for another week and C) we're not actually an official team anymore. They were supposed to replace our team leader but the person who was supposed to do that ended up filling in as TL for another team. And so they decided (after a couple weeks of our not having a TL) to disband our team this week and assign us all to different teams. We were supposed to actually start working the same shifts as our new teams next week too but the schedule that came out today has as all working as a team still. (Meaning that for many of us our official TL isn't even at work when we are. Or at least not for all the time we are). Crazy.
