Just had a nice 12.5 hour shift and now I'm in the 10 hour window between that shift and my 11.5 hour shift. And then it gets worse after that. Yay for overworking your employees and encouraging the already high burnout rate to shoot upwards.
If you don't have enough people to cover the calls you expect to get no matter what you do, isn't it better to not overload your employees driving down productivity and moral as well as driving the turnover rate up? Seems logical to me but I guess I'm not an excutive. Ah business logic.
