Sort of memorable day at work today as I've officially finished with my facilitation and I'm now on a team. It's a fairly impressive feat to make it through facilitation this time around as they had a much higher than expected drop out rate with our group. Somewhere around 50% of the people who started the same day I did aren't with the company anymore. I think the second group may have also had a high rate of dropping out as they started a new group this week and another round of trainees are hitting the classroom in 2 weeks.
I'm not sure if I really like my schedule or not. My teammates seem like a good bunch of people and I do get quite a few more days off, but I also have to work longer shifts. I'm not sure exactly how the schedule works but I know my starting time varies from 12:45 PM - 4:45 PM with the shift ending time varying from midnight and 4 AM. I never really had a good look at the schedule but I know it's a combination of 2 and 3 day shifts (both on and off). I'm not sure if it's 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off or the more complex (yet more stable) 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off. I'm kinda hoping it's the latter as it would give me a much more stable schedule. I do know that I've got 2 on (Monday, Tuesday), 2 off (Wed, Thurs), 3 on (Fri, Sat, Sun) right after my 2 regular, shorter lengthed shifts on Sat and Sun though so it'll be kind of a rough first week but I'm hoping things will end up being all right.
