The Quilted Cave

Ramblings from everyone's favorite quilted super-hero.

I saw something interesting this evening. Heidi wanted to go outside and while I was holding the door open I saw a little frog hanging off the side of the door frame. This isn't the first time I've seen it but I've only seen it a couple of times and only on the basement door of our new house. And it's always when it's warm and humid (usually wet too). I'm not quite sure what attracts them but it's kinda neat to see.

Speaking of hot and humid tonight seems to be our first dose of that unbearable consequence of summer that most people magically forget about the rest of the year. Give me so cold I need an extra blanket any day. I like to be able to sleep comfortably; I'm funny that way.

Quote of the YesterDay: "There shouldn't be any women at all in this world! Just children and men!"
- J. Jonah Jamieson (Classic Spiderman)
Nobody got this one but if you've seen the show, you're probably not surprised by the comment. Whenever he gets ranty he'll complain about just about anything (though most of the time it's directly connected to Spiderman. And then he makes that face. And then Peter and/or Betty laugh. Also, Peter will often wink, thus letting his co-workers know that he's Spiderman (well they'd know if they weren't fucking morons))

Quote of the Day: "How about a kiss for luck?" *gets kiss on the cheek* "I meant tounge luck."
-?
A bit easier than yesterday's quote. Esp given that it's from something much less obscure than an episode of 60s Spiderman.

Update: For those who missed it, tonight on Superfriends Batman had chemicals spilled on him and he turned into a junk monster. Even stupider (and funnier) than it sounds.
