It's been a while since I posted here. I could come up with all sorts of excuses about my being really busy/tired/sickly/etc but whatever. While all those things have played a factor, I've also been too lazy to get around to updating. There were several times when I planned to update and I even had stuff to update about but I'd get lazy and now most of those things have since faded out of my memory.

So what's been going on since my last update, you ask? Studying, exams, partying and general hanging out for the most part. The studying and exams were a bit on the stressful side but I feel confident I did well and I think studying actually paid off. What a shock, eh? All in all, despite being stressful, it has been a fairly good week.

I write my second last exam tomorrow afternoon. It should be a pretty easy one and even if it isn't, I've prepared more than enough to do well on it. The one thing I really do not like about exams is the writing part. Not as in having an exam but as in actually writing letters on a paper. I have horrible, horrible hand-writing and to make up for this, I do the vast majority of my writing on a computer. I even take all my notes on my laptop instead of jotting them down. I can type much more quickly AND it is much easier to read when I am done. Unfortunately, most profs do not have exams which may be typed up which forces me to rely on my sub-par handwriting. To make things even more fun, since I phased out most of my handwriting a couple years back, I've gotten to the point where if I write for more than an hour or so, my finger starts to get sore from rubbing up against the pen. So not only am I losing points because the prof can barely read my pen scratches, I'm also giving myself a blister. Fun fun!

In non-bitchy news, I've noticed a definite increase in the number of dreams I can recall of late. There's rarely a night that goes by where I don't recall at least part of one dream. Some nights I can even remember two or three different dreams. I've always had a fairly good ability to recall my dreams but I definitely seem to be recalling more and more often over the last few weeks.

I've also come up with a (hopefully) cool new story idea thanks to a dream I had. It's only in the earliest planning stages right now but if I all goes well I'll be telling you more about it in a future blupdate.

And with that sorta maybe a little exciting news, I bid you farewell.

Quilted Porcupine, Away!
